GROUP CLASSES
Beginner Latin Dance Classes with Nicole Lamb in Hamilton, Ontario, and Beyond
Are you curious about learning Latin dance styles like salsa and bachata but have little to no prior experience?
Our Group Movement classes are perfect for beginners looking to get moving, express themselves through dance, and have fun in a supportive group setting.
Whether you’re dancing with a partner or on your own, our latin dance classes will teach you the fundamentals of Latin dance in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. Come as you are – all skill levels and dance experience are welcome!
Step and Stretch Classes are held every Sunday.
Partnerwork Classes are held every Monday, Friday and Sunday.
Lessons will always have an element about the timing of music, a focus on weight transfer and how you are connecting with the partner you are dancing with. With a lot of practice, it will only be a matter of time, that you will become a technical, experienced, creative and expressive dancer.
So bring your dance shoes, water and get ready to move your body to the rhythm!

Only if you buy my course called “The Essence of Salsa and the Tools to make it your own”. Everyone learns on their own pace but what you CAN expect is basic salsa rhythm and steps. These are what the modules are called:
Module 1 – Basic Salsa Shines
Module 2 – Meet Suzy Q
Module 3 – Suzy Q part II
Module 4 – Upward Spiral
Module 5 – Make the World go round
Module 6 – Left and Centre
I will be writing more about it in my blog

What can a customer expect in an online salsa class?
If it’s your 1st, a lot of frustration, but that is ok, we will wait for you.
What I teach are salsa basic step tutorials with an energetic and blubbly perspective on things. I will be your personal trainer who guides you through your dancing journey.
What is different about you versus other competitors?
I can make you laugh and not take yourself no seriously. I will get you to start thinking positively with my silly ‘mantras’ and will introduce you to music that literally wakes up the hairs of your ears! You will WANT to move!
I also will have kind constructive criticism when applicable and will encourage you to challenge yourself.
I do not leave any student behind!
I will inspire you to dance with your entire body!
I can provide a safe and non-judgmental environment.
I can put you at ease.
A reminder call/text (your choice) about your lesson that day!

Great question! You do not believe that dancing is a key component to maintaining your health
You like to complain about your dancing capabilities instead of embracing the process.
You don’t appreciate keeping your zoom camera on or do not appreciate the feedback or showing your dancing.
You already have expectations of this course.
You are obsessed with being perfect.
You won’t take the time to practice in-between lessons (but expect results)
Salsa for me was a step forward to bigger and more pivotal things in my life.
What stopped me from going to the gym did not stop me from getting up to do a salsa lesson.
Finding out the endorphins that dancing gave in 5 minutes versus lifting weights was something else!
Salsa gave me the academic mind again of learning something that I actually enjoyed, rather than reading a book.
I realized that being of service to others has so much reward, if not more than the benefits of dancing.
I am not getting any younger so continuing my journey with learning more salsa moves (stay tuned for future curriclulum) also connects my mind with my body, and maintaining my memory is very important to me.
Being in control of my body brings confidence.
My cardiovascular system immediately has been improved by dancing.
Finally, my mood, my feeling of importance and my life is made better with a routine of expressing myself without having to worry about other aspects of my life.
I enjoy spreading the history, the music and the movement of Salsa to you.
